According to Chad’s national aviation authority, theCivil Aviation Authority of Chad(ADAC), flying a drone is legal in Chad, but we recommend being aware of and compliant with the drone regulations listed below before doing so.

General Rules for Flying a Drone in Chad

Based on our research and interpretation of the laws, here are the most important rules to know for flying a drone in Chad.

• A permit is required for commercial drone operations.
• Do not fly over people.
• Do not fly over airports or in areas where aircraft are operating.
• Do not fly at night or in bad weather conditions.
• Do not fly in sensitive areas such as government or military facilities.
